What?
A weekly storytelling session
for toddlers at Naas library. Kids of all ages are welcome, but
everyone should be accompanied by an adult. The events are free and
open for everyone.
The sessions will incorporate 30 minutes of storytelling and songs in the children's section (on the ground floor of the library), and a 30-minute crafts session upstairs in the library meeting room.
When & where?
The storytelling group meets every Tuesday at 10.30am (see calendar for exceptions and more details of each session).Who?
The stories will be told by volunteers - parents just like you. We are always looking for new people to tell us stories from their own childhood, from all backgrounds and cultures to make sure the kids get the best stories going. If you'd like to participate but storytelling doesn't sound like fun to you, we would love help with the crafts sessions or even the sing-songs. While there is no pressure or obligation to join in the activities, we'd love everyone to get stuck into some creative fun with the kids. If you're interested in joining, please let us know!
The World of Stories storytime groups is funded by a grant from the Kildare Community Partnership.

After the toddler's story you're welcome to stick around to find out more about the storytelling sessions and the library services in general.
The crafts sessions will start running from the 25th of March.
